Please go to the “NYC Careers” page within the NYC.GOV website for any new Attorney openings. In theory, every city employment opportunity not restricted to “current city employees only” should be posted, and this site is supposed to have all such current and updated positions.

Go to: http://www.nyc.gov/html/careers. Then click on Job Search.

Current city employees should also check the “City Jobs” section of the intranet for current job opportunities that may not be more widely circulated.

Please note: Due to the pandemic-induced difficult fiscal situation facing the city and state (and indeed our entire country), agencies are facing more hiring restrictions than usual. We are told that at the present time, with few exceptions, only one person can be hired for every three vacant positions.
